New Music! New shows!
At last! CalStampMusic has been dormant for a while, but now we’re back in business and ready to get sensitive. I’ve posted a brand new song on my Soundcloud page called “Summertime.” I will be performing that song THIS SUNDAY (5/12) at The Bowery Electric at 7:45 p.m. Can’t wait to get up there and play for you all again!

Tracked a new tune up in Vermont with my brother, Will. Will be posting it in the next week or two so stay tuned. In other news, Spirit Animal has a Midwest tour coming up at the end of May. (Dates to come.) See you out there!

Apologies to the droves of disappointed visitors who have been checking calstampmusic.com on the regular, only to find that the site was down. We’re finally back online and back in business for 2013. Spirit Animal had a great East Coast tour back in December, which I followed up with my own three-week backpacking tour in Peru. Had an amazing time, saw some amazing sights, and met some amazing people. Happy to be back in the good ol’ US of A, though. Spirit Animal is getting ready to hit the road again — this time in the mid-West. Check the show section for tour dates. Meanwhile, I’m getting ready to track a couple more tunes. Keep an eye out for something to drop in the next few months!

ROCKWOOD: The Sequel
Today is the day, folks! I’m back at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 1) for more angst-ridden acoustic pop shenanigans. I’ll be keeping it fresh on stage, and I’m gonna need y’all to hold it down in the audience. Lets get frisky! (6 p.m./FREE)

Good times in DC, Returning to Rockwood in ROCKtober
Great times playing with We Were Kings at 9:30 Club on Friday! Thanks to everyone who came out. In other news, I’ll be back at Rockwood on October 9th. More details to come!
Last minute 9:30 Club show added
We Were Kings has picked up a last minute headlining slot at my favorite venue — the 9:30 Club in NW DC. I grew up going to shows there, and have since had the opportunity to play that stage several times. Needless to say, it’s like home. I would love to see your smiling faces when I come back on August 24th!
In other news, Spirit Animal has some exciting things brewing, so keep your eye out for updates. Over and out!

Making my Rockwood debut…
NYC friends! Just booked a free solo acoustic show at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 1). I’ll be playing on Thursday, July 12th at 6 p.m. It’s an early show, so come out after work and throw back a beer or six with me. Best part? You’ll be home in time to sleep off the hangover!
